Dermotracin

Dermotracin is an antibiotic that contains a combination of Neomycin and Bacitracin as its active ingredients. It’s effective against burns, surface wounds infections, ulcers, ear infections, eye infections and pressure sores.

It’s very effective due to its ability to prevent bacterial growth by inhibiting its cell wall synthesis and stopping the synthesis of essential proteins for the bacterial cell.

Dermotracin is for external use only, and should be used for the duration prescribed by the doctor.

Neomyci 165.000 I.U.
(in the Form/ Formsof neomycin sulfate)
Bacitracin 12.500 I.U.

 • Super infections of surface wounds, burns, and pressure sores (e.g. bed sores).
• Pyoderma epidermal (impetigo group).
• Epidermocutaneous pyoderma folliculitis) - primarily to prevent the spread of infection.
• Bacterial dermatopathies (Ecthyma gangrenosum).
• Viral infections (herpes simplex, herpes zoster) and bites of insects, if secondary bacterial infection occurs.
