Dextrose MUP

Dextrose is a form of glucose that’s used to compensate for fluid loss and provide the patient with carbohydrates his body needs by injecting it into a vein.

It’s commonly used in case of insulin shock, dehydration and hypoglycemia.

It’s very important to inform your doctor if you’re diabetic, having any breathing problems, kidney or liver disease before having Dextrose.

INDICATIONS

Dextrose-MUP 5% IV Infusion Solution is indicated for:

  • Fluid replacement, administered alone or in regimens with electrolytes or additives known to be compatible with 5% glucose.
