Mannitol MUP

Mannitol is a diuretic drug. It helps in producing urine in the case of people who suffer from acute renal failure. It also helps get rid of some of the toxic substances in the body. Mannitol is also used to reduce swelling and pressure inside the eye or around the brain.

Each Bottle Contains:
Mannitol 10 GM / 100 ML Solution - 10%
MannitolL 20 GM / 100 ML Solution - 20% 		Bottle:
Bottle 500 ML 		MANNITOL 10 g/100 ml Solution for infusion is indicated for
use as an osmotic diuretic in the following situations:
• Promotion of diuresis in the prevention and/or treatment of
the oliguric phase of acute renal failure before irreversible renal failure
becomes established.
• Reduction of intracranial pressure and cerebral oedema, when
blood-barrier is intact.
• Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure when it cannot be
lowered by other means.
• Promotion of elimination of renally excreted toxic substances
in poisoning.

INDICATIONS
